TV and Radio Listings Services - Samples

Below you'll find a number of examples for a variety of data formats. Each of the files contains the same data for each channel. The data is "live" data and represents a typical snapshot of the data we can provide you with.

The files listed below were updated 0:17am

Options

Each export can have different options. One option they all share is the ability to change the time zone of the data. The time zone for each schedule record can be whatever you want, or we can deliver it in GMT if that is easier. Typically print publishers will want their local time zone (BST for UK, CET for Europe).

Examples of options include whether descriptions are included, and on which channels, whether we include the keywords, qualifiers, full cast, year and may more.

XML format

We can provide a simple XML format that is easy to use and fast to parse.

TSV format

Tab Separated Values. This is a simple format with each data field separated by a single "tab" character and each record separated by a new CR/LF pair.

WIR format

Broadcasting Data Services standard format. Much like TSV this is a simple format with each data field separated by a single "tab" character and each record separated by a new CR/LF pair.

Plain Text

This format is expecially useful for print publishing. There are many options available including whether to have descriptions or not, whether new lines appear bewteen programmes etc.

RTF

Like Plain Text, this format is expecially useful for print publishing. We have similar options available for RTF and Plain Text

Tribune Media Services format

If you're already using the TMS format then this is for you. It won't throw up any surprises and should just slot right into your existings processing systems.

Custom formats

We can also create a data drop for you in whatever format you want and will work with you to ensure the data we deliver to you is in the exact format you want.
